Effective date: July 10, 2026

Orbit Down is designed to be free, ad-free, private, and useful without an account. This policy explains what the app stores, what it does not collect, and how optional Apple services are used.

Privacy Summary

No ads The app does not include advertising SDKs or ad networks.
No analytics The app does not include an analytics SDK or developer-operated analytics service.

Data Stored By The App

Orbit Down stores the countdowns, collections, tags, notes, symbols, colors, widget preferences, reminders, completion history, templates, palettes, backups, and optional photo background references that you create. This data is stored on your device by default.

If you enable iCloud sync, Apple syncs your countdown data through your Apple ID. The developer does not operate an account system or backend service for your countdown data.

Apple Permissions

Backups And Sharing

Orbit Down can export backups, portable countdown files, calendar invite text, Markdown summaries, plain-text summaries, QR codes, and share-card images when you choose those actions. Exported files are controlled by you and the destination you select.

Deleting Data

You can delete countdowns, clear completion history, remove local data from Settings, and delete exported backups from wherever you saved them. If iCloud sync is enabled, Apple sync behavior may affect how deletion propagates across your signed-in devices.
